Death knight

I am lucky to be married to an artsy man (he's a video game artist).

For Christmas and birthdays, etc, I usually enjoy making him crafts based on his artwork. We jokingly call these  "hubris gifts" 

This is what I made him for Christmas:

It took me days, but it was worth it--he loves it and is going to keep it on his desk at work

(few questions  :)
What size is it? ...perhaps about 5-6"?
What type and brand/line of clay did you use?
What kind of armature did you use?
Are the gold-ish colors actually gold-colored, and if so which colorant did you use? (or did you just paint over all the clay?)

ScrappySue--wow, that's so nice, I don't think I've ever inspired anyone before. I know what you mean though, I also feel like I need to get my bum off the computer

I used Super Sculpey, with a foil armature, although there's also a tiny IKEA pencil stuffed in there for extra support to connect the head and torso (I fly by the seat of my pants when making stuff :p ). For the colors, I just used acrylic paints, including a metallic gold one. Oh and good eye, it's about 6" tall

Awesome! Hubby got WOTLK for his birthday, and I got it for Christmas...we're both big WoW geeks He'd love something like this....though he'd probably love one based on his main toon. Great job, very inspiring!!
