Just finished a baby I have been working on forever. I wasnt able to get him done till lastnight. He still needs a blankie though but that will be later today or something. He is made with prosculpt polymer clay. I don't use any molds on any of my sculpts. I think some of you might remember me from posting my baby nathanial awhile back. Let me know what you think Cheesy

Thats amazing, people who give birth to 'angels' (premies who never take their first breath) would love these.
Good job, keep up the good work.

Thank you guys so much! I can make a baby in three days if I work real hard but since I dont have much time to make them it takes me longer. I would love to sculpt these for woman who have lost. I have lost 7 myself and know how heart breaking it is. If I could not make them myself I think I would get someone to do it for me.

Wow hubby was so tiny and he became super tall! Strange how things like that can happen right. Hubs is a survivor Cheesy I was a 28-29 weeker myself.. Back then it was hard to keep a baby alive so goooo hubbers.

I really wish I could. It sounds like a beautiful idea. Maybe when I have more time and money I can. Each baby seems to take me a few weeks to make.

You are so right. I am so glad you feel that way when you look at him.

LOL

Wow! Great use of color! I am amazed!

I was really hoping I caught the color right. Sometimes it is hard and when you stare at them for so long you tend to not see things other people do. I have to sometimes put my sculpts away for a bit and then look at them later again. Strange sounding huh

I copied this little ones face off a sweet image I found online. I use tuns of baby pictures to get the look I want sometimes.

Yes the face of that baby was actually modeled from a face online my friend sent me. I used to do comissioned pieces but I find I dont have enough time. So now I just sculpt and try and sell. I think I will do it that way until I have more time to sculpt again.

if you decide you want to do commissions you let me know.  my hubby and i are always complaining that we came home with a 3 month old.  She looked like a newborn for all of 3 days (i was in the hospital for 5 days).  She weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs 15 oz and everyone was amazed that she already had great head control by the time we left. i would love a miniature Aria to remind me of those oh so fleeting moments of newborn-ness.

So many people have been asking me for a baby and I may just start making commissioned pieces again. It is not definate yet but I will be thinking about it. It is actually hard considering the lack of time I have daily. We will see though. Cheesy Thank you thank you for being interested! As for you're baby I can totally understand. Though my biggest baby was 8.2 but I can imagine.
