my boyfriend just became an uncle in October so i decided to knit his niece the 5 hour baby sweater. it came out just like i wanted and didn't take too long. i worked on it while the bf was sleeping. I've been told little Lily has worn the sweater already and it keeps her nice and warm.

If you end up knitting this be sure not to make the cast on row too tight (for the neck). I learned this the hard way.

I love this pattern. I made one for a friend's baby back in march. She is finally big enough for it. I think it is very impressive. I love that you don't need to knit button holes. I hope they loved your beautiful gift.
