I'm loving the March square, like CraftADDchick said, I may have to make one anyway even though it won't go in my current afghan (or maybe I could morph it into something for the motif swap  Smiley).

So I'm behind. And I'm also amazed at how BIG a 12 inch square is! ha ha

So here is my January, finally. Forgive the unwoven ends. If I remember correctly I added an extra row of scallops/shells. And did 2 dc per sp instead of 3dc in the last row to make it less wonky. Didn't use a row 13 A or B as it would have made it too big. I have a hard time following rules  Grin

It would make a beautiful 12 inch pillow! Smiley

I was thinking the same thing!  Smiley

Or I might make four of them and put them on all four corners of my blanket....I think it would give my ghan a nice touch plus give me 3 fillers...lol

So...  I've been working on this Irish Rose square for several days now, and I'm so pleased with how it's turning out.  However I hit a slight snag yesterday:

This is what a brand new Brittany birch hook looks like after a little dog named Stuart Little eats it.

I can't really see the picture, but I sympathize with the dog chewing stuff up - my cats LOVE to play and chew (like a dog) any bamboo or wooden knitting needles or crochet hooks.

Oh man, I can see the pic now! That sucks, I'm sorry. Sad

Gorgeous squares folks! I was feeling a bit bad that some folks didn't like the 3D aspect, so I'm happy to see so many lovely squares posted (maybe it'll convince some folks to give it a go).

And, thanks to all of the folks who are helping out our newbie crocheters! I'm glad so many of the new folks are toughing it out and learning as they go Wink
Not to worry I still plan to make it just not put it in the blanket. I will save it and put it with other 3-d squares. Don't feel badly it is neat, my ocd just would go crazy if I added it to a mostly flat blanket.
