Very pretty! I saw this pattern was ten pages and thought it was going to be WAY complex! It looks pretty simple tho, I'll start it as soon as I'm done with the Ravelry Feb square, I'm behind. Sad

The actual pattern is only about 3 pages... it's because I added the checklist at the end (which you won't need, cause you're a crochet ace). And, it is such a repetitive pattern (even on the rose part), that it's fairly easy!

And, silverfisch, make it now, decide later- great idea! Grin

Oh my gosh!  I freaked out, too, when I saw this month's pattern was 10 pages long!  However, I LOVE the checklists at the end.  I've had to write out instructions line-by-line like that just to keep things straight so that's a big help.

Also... my afghan will be for my dogs and cats, and I'm pretty sure they'll try to gnaw off the flower, but I'm going to try it anyway!

Thanks!!

That is probably the most confusing part of the pattern, but all I did was stick a slip stitch in one of the stitches on the back, essentially bringing the yarn from the edge of the flower to the back. Then, I think I slip stitched again to the spot between the petals so I could start the next round.

Each of the next rounds on the flower is worked from behind the petals of the previous round. Seems awkward at first, but once you do it, you get it...

Hope that helps! If not, maybe someone else can explain it better... I'm starting to go cross-eyed from re-reading this pattern Tongue

And... I just noticed that round 3 is in there twice. I'm uploading a corrected version in a little bit, but I have to switch computers so I'm going to eat first Wink Until then, just ignore one of the round 3 directions Grin

I just modified the pattern version for 2 reasons:
1) I had an extra Round 3 in there, so I deleted one.
2) Since it isn't my pattern, and I don't yet have permission to re-post it, I noted all of my corrections/additions in red (as suggested by yellowduckie... just to be safe Wink ).

And, hopefully, I won't have to fuss with it anymore! I've spent more hours working on the pattern than I did working on making the square Tongue

Yes!  I made a little video about it for the ravelry group

I usually made little videos about things in the pattern that might confuse people.

Thanks for the vid! I'm excited to start now. I've never seen anyone crochet left handed; it's like looking into a mirror.  Roll Eyes
