Finished my January square, really nice pattern!! Hadn't made a square like that in years!!! Reminded me of when I was little, my mam thought me how to crochet by making those squares....

Nice job, krafty kate! Once again, I'm lovin' the squares with the color changes!

And, dannispring240, it's not too late! And, the square is a good one!

Slingmomma, I hope you still feel the same way after the February square! It's a bit trickier in the beginning. It gets easier, though. If you just follow the pattern bit by bit, and don't try to out-think it, it really does work out well (although mine was small again... smaller than January, even. I'll have to fix that later...). I just have to weave in the ends, and I'll post it on Sunday!

Huzzah, can't wait! Tongue The months seem to be going by quickly in relation to everything else in my life, but when I think about these squares they seem to be creeping along, haha.

Don't be too scared! It was really only one tiny thing that I didn't quite get (I'll make a note of it in the post and maybe a more experienced crocheter can clarify it), so I winged it and it looks fine. It really is a follow-stitch-by-stitch pattern in the beginning. After Round 7, it's easy! And Round 7 isn't hard, you just have to pay attention Wink

I've done it ! Came out really nicely even though I did that last row backwards. I like my namesake square and may well be doing it again.

I used double knitting as it's much more common here in the UK so my square is only about 8" but that is fine.

Esther that is really pretty, I'm in the UK too & usually use Aran weight as a WW equivalent but this time I'm using CHUNKY for big fat squares  Grin
