I just happen to be crocheting tonight - working on the December 12 incher. Then one more big one and I'm ready to weave in ends. That's my least favorite part. If I had some extra cash, I'd pay someone to do that part for me  Grin

I'd pay someone to weave in the ends AND join them together! But, I guess I just need to suck it up and do it myself Wink

I hadn't even really thought about the joining part, I'd pay for that to be done too  Grin

I have been working on weaving in the ends to the blocks from this CAL, plus all of the motifs I made & received in the motif swaps and the newest motifs from the Beyond the Square CAL. I think I have 5 more blocks (all from this CAL, I think) with ends to weave. Then, I'll be caught up (81 motifs in all, at this point). Since the motifs vary in shape and size of hook used, I have no idea how I'll be joining them together. I think I'm going to pick up a white sheet (white will be my joining color) and start laying them out to see what I end up with... and then I'll figure out how to join them...

Sorry guys...I didn't drop off the face of the earth.  I'm not sure where are my time is going, but I just don't seem to have a whole lot of extra time lately.  I finished the three afghans from this CAL for Christmas.  I never finished the squares for the 12" CAL...I got lost somewhere around July.

Here are the pictures of the three afghans from this CAL.  The lavender one was given to one of my nieces and I made two of the blue/brown ones.  One was for my other nice and the other was for a friend.

As far as weaving the ends, I do that as I am making the squares.  I concur that I would gladly pay someone to join them together.  When I am at that point, the project is less portable and harder for me to find time to finish.

love2teach, your blankets came out fabulous! And now I know where your time went! I was lucky if I got the minimum done, never mind in multiples!

As for the 12" CAL, you're not the only one Wink And, even though my squares are finished, I haven't joined them together yet...

wow, love2teach, your blankets are PERFECT (and beautiful)! I'm so impressed that you finished three of them. I think you deserve an award!

Or maybe three awards  Grin
