octopus silk-screened holiday cards

my boyfriend and i made these cards for the holidays this year. the actual paper part is 3 different layers (one was a shimmery layer on the glass which looked like frost but was really hard to photograph.) the little octopus guy is two layers silk screened on shrink plastic. he can be used as an ornament or whatever you like! we made about 60 of these i think.

this was my attempt at photography the shimmery layer...... i think you can kind of see it but maybe that's just because i know its there.

They are such a cool idea - both a card and an ornament!

Shrink plastic is my new favourite material so these look great to me!

I like the way the octopus motif (v cute with the earmuffs(?) on!) is repeated on the envelope
