Xmas Prezzies - Kitschy Binary and Urban Threads (2 large pix)

This year, I decided to make some needlework as gifts. Up first is this hilarious Home Sweet Home placard for the friend who introduced my bf and I and her computer-geek fiance:



The binary spells out HSH I left it on their kitchen floor propped against pop because no one was home. LOL, it took them three phone calls to figure out who in heavens was in their kitchen! Haha! They loved it, especially Mr. Computers

For the hunny's mom and sis, I made these from Urban Threads patterns:



I added the text using a photoshop program with fonts downloaded from dafont.com. Both the ladies LOL'd at their gifts and his sister, who can be snobbish sometimes, actually TALKED ABOUT IT on the phone with a friend! I guess she genuinely likes it!

YAY! A Christmas success! Now there's just Ukrainian Christmas to craft for

The HSH border was actually done using couching It turned out pretty good for a first attempt.
