I am new to painting in general.  I am an art major, and we did a watercolor section in my design class...so i thought i'd give it a try.

Its from an original picture I took in my grandmother's back yard this past summer.  ALl her flowers are shirvled and dead now because it's winter...I thought i'd bring one back.  let me know what you think Smiley Smiley

Wow, absolutely beautiful!  I love the blending of colors on the petals.  Do you have the reference pic?  It turned out really lovely, you should frame it for sure.
