I made this purse for my almost 3 year old niece. She just adores Spongebob and loves to put things into bags, boxes, strollers and carts and haul them around the house...so I figured a purse was the way to go...lol

My stitching of the mouth leaves a lot to be desired but after several attempts I just went with it as I had a huge list of things to finish before Christmas.

This is one of those pieces where you know if you could just do it again...you would be able to do it so much better...but my niece loved it...so that what counts right?

Adorable! I think she'll love it. I know I always learn more from the projects that don't go exactly as I'd planned. Smiley

I think it's a very good likeness. It looks to me like you did a great job, and I'm not at all surprised to hear that your niece loved it!

It looks remarkably like him!  I think you did a fantastic job.  What a nice gift!

My daughter loves "Bum Bum" too, and little purses... I may have to try something similar.  Thanks for the inspiration!   Cheesy
