i made this purse a few months ago and really love how it turned out. i havent been sewing for very long, and i feel like this purse looks a lot more complicated than it actually was....so people are impressed by it Smiley
it was the amy butler pattern- i believe its called the chelsea bag. i just sewed on leather handles instead of cutting them out of the bag. and i added inside pockets, including my first-ever zippered pocket. exciting!
the purse handles only fit over my arm if im wearing a tshirt though, so i guess this is in retirement until spring!

its pretty roomy. i like it because it holds a notebook and book and wallet with plenty of room left.

Cute fabric. I've made a few shorthandled purses before on accident. But i find i get more comments on them because people see them.
