I read Wicked last year.  Right now I am trying to read Mirror Mirror, but am having difficulty getting into it.

In other news, I have finished my bookmarks.  They are going in the mail tomorrow.  Let the swap anxiety begin!!   Grin  I am actually somewhat happy with the way they turned out.  They are kind of simple, but I think they look nice.  I sure hope my group likes them!!

Wicked is one of my all time favorites, I saw the musical and was sad at the Disney-facation of it, sad....Mirror Mirror is not my favorite of his, but I enjoy his writing, Son of a Witch kind of irritated me for most of the book, but it got better....

I am so happy this swap combined my love for crafting and reading!!!

3 out of 4 are done!   I'm so proud of them...I don't want to give them up.

I'm stumped with the last one, but I do have a back-up plan.

Now my husband wants me to make him one too.

I, too, used my stash, which is quite large.  Grin I am wondering, and this is only my second swap...how much time are y'all spending on your bookmarks?! Some of you sound like you are taking hours, and mine seemed to go together relatively quick. I guess I have swap anxiety! Undecided Ack!

Mine took a bit over an hour each, I know because I made each of them while watching an episode of CSI and the episodes were over slightly before I finished the bookmarks  Cheesy

I always imagine paper crafts don't take too  long (and I'm saying that as someone who doesn't do paper crafts of any kind so I could be way wrong) but mine aren't made from paper.

I am reading "the 13th tale" and its creepy, next i will read "a lion among men"  and of course random text book-y things for work

The Thirteenth Tale is one of my favorite books of all time.  I loved it so much that I bought a few copies for my daughter, my assistant, and some friends.

I really enjoyed the Thirteenth Tale too. You might like the Shifting Fog and Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton if you like the other.

I am almost done on my third. Grin Grin

Thank you for the recommendations!  I am going to the library tomorrow and will look for both.

Mine aren't paper either - I don't trust myself with glue.    Wink  Messy messy...But I'm planning on having the basics finished tonight & then hopefully the finishing touch tomorrow.

Is there a gallery for this swap?  Two of my partners were early & I'm expecting bookmarks today or tomorrow, I think.

All of mine took me  different amounts of time, ranging from 1/2hr- 1 1/2 hrs,  But I think the results of all of them are great!  None are done in the same way, and some took me longer, as those ones were "experimental".   Still need to find my glue gun.......  its still "put away"  where?  who knows....  Definitly not my husband who "put it away"......  Angry

OOOH, I will have to find the Thirteenth Tale, with so many recommendations.  I think I'll head to the library in a few.
I just got Tales of the Beedle Bard, The Historian, a new journal, and a book about Van Gogh for Christmas so I need some bookmarks!!  Yay I think I'm in the right place.  Cheesy
