So after seeing everyone's one skein scarf I realized that I had to finally get the Happy Hooker book ... and I fell in love with it.  This scarf is so fast and the book has wonderful directions.  Also thanks to cocomarie and cjshinn for answering my random pm's even though you don't know me!  You were both very helpful - thanks so much.

I'm pretty happy with the results ... it could have been better, but all in all I think it turned out pretty well

Comments and criticism are greatly appreciated!!!

I love the yarn you chose.  What is it?

I hope that isn't the only pattern you like in the book.  I adore the Fat Bottomed Hat personally and I am in the middle of the PDA right now.  Besides, it is awesome pulling out a book entitled Happy Hooker.   Wink

Thanks everyone!

The yarn is Sensations brand, but I'm not sure of what the color name is, but I got it at Joann fabrics about a year or two ago.  It was one of the huge skeins that was like $9 dollars, and I think the still sell the exact yarn at Joann's.

And NO, this is absolutely not the only pattern I like from the book.  I can't wait to make them all!

thats an interesting pattern you have there... where did you get it?

The pattern is from the Happy Hooker book by Debbie Stoller

Since my girls actually nap (knock on wood), I am going to start trying to work off my negative feedback.  Life got hectic with their early arrival.  I apologize for the inconveniences my flaking caused.

I have the same yarn so I can answer this... It's worsted. It's a brushed acrylic so it is really soft. I particularly love using it in those maryjane slippers(like in my profile) because they are warm, soft and wash/dryable.
