I love them! I would love to know how you make them. They would make baby gifts!. Thanks!

Check out page 1, reply #5 ... the author posted the pattern and gave info on how they made them Smiley

These are the cutest things ever.  Do you think they'd still stand up if filled with beanie-baby filling?

I have some experience with that type of filling and I don't think it would work out to well. Since it just makes the animal floppy and heavey. The easiest thing to do would be to add darts in the inside of the legs. And it wouldn't take too long either. When I made mine that's what I wanted to do but I didn't think about it till I had them done. lol.

These elephants, funnily enough, are the cats pyjamas. And it's finally provoked me to get OUT of my pyjamas and make 'em.

hee.

Thank your for the tutorial and pattern--my niece was supposed to get two of these (based off your post) for Christmas.  After my fiance saw how well they turned out, he claimed one for himself!

This was my first real adventure into the world of felt sewing, and despite a few frustrations, not too difficult!

This is exactly what I'm looking for...I want to make a stuffed elephant for a little girl to go along with a book I got her for her birthday.  Thanks!
