I saw this mentioned on the Sprite Stitch blog and I love it! This is one of my favorite things I see done for Mario stuff, but I've been too lazy to try it myself!

I actually stole the original fire mario from that pattern and made a friend of mine a fridge magnet that says "fired up" in original mario font Cheesy  yours is cooler though, I love the way this came out!
