This is my first post of the stencils I've done, but not the first time trying out freezer paper stencils.

For Christmas, I always make my friends shirts and the past two years I've "upgraded" from puffy paint free-hand to freezer paper stencils.

Friend #1 is really excited for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland so I made her this shirt. The front is plain black scoop neck with red splatters, and this is the back:

It's Alice and the White Rabbit (obviously) with some red splatters here and there.

This is a close up to show the crackling effect I wanted. I used a few layers of regular acrylic paint and then just stretched the fabric gently. After that dried I flung some red paint on it to look "edgy."

Friend #2 is just awesome and I made her this shirt:

I'm sure most of you have seen this stencil if you've been to stencilry.org.

And a close-up:

I'm really happy how both shirts turned out. Stencils came from stencilry.org.

I'm such a fan of Banksy - and you've done great justice to his work!  Well done!  I love the Alice in Wonderland stencil as well.  Beautiful work!

I absolutely LOVE the first one so much! It reminds me of summer childhood and yet it is kinda vintage and really personalized with the red. I cannot wait to see that movie!
