My mom made this over Christmas break last year and it really was as addictive as crack is.  Wink Haha, and it was delicious too.

So, I followed this recipe last year for christmas. The first day, they were great! It was hard not to eat them all, but I was determined to use them for christmas presents so I held off. But a day or two later, no one really seemed to like it. So I tried it, and it was sort of icky. It was all greasy, and the butter made it all... unpleasant. Any idea what I did wrong? Too much butter, maybe? Has this happened to anyone else yet?

I cool mine in the fridge till they are hard enough to crack.  I have found that you have to store them in an airtight container or they get a bit more chewy and less crisp.

Mine never make it long enough to store; they are always eaten up the day I make them. Wink
