Nice work! I like how you used a theme and coordinated both fabrics.

That came out really pretty.  I'll have to try that tute if I ever actually GO anywhere.  Be thankful that you have a sewing ROOM!  My sewing mess is currently spread out all over the house, I'm frantically trying to finish my projects so we can eat at the dining room table for Christmas.

Thanks!  I must admit I LOVE my sewing room!  (It's also our office/computer room.) I'm thinking I could use a little more room, though.  It used to be a double garage, but one of the previous owners closed it up and built a huge detached garage.

I love it!  It hurts my brain to even try and think of constructing something like this.  I could really use a new gym bag though...

It's not really that bad! I was worried, but it turned out really well and the lining was the only thing that I goofd up on, so you can't see it!
Thanks!

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone!  You can check out my blog to see the other bags I've made.  I don't post all of them here.

I just bought some of that blue fabric the other day for $1 a yard!  I just haven't figured out what to make with it.  Your bag is so cute.  You did a great job.

It looks great.   I plan on making a large bag before this summer and will keep in mind the tutorial you used and using two layers of heavy interfacing.

Thanks for sharing this!
