what do you guys think of the cricut? Is there a difference between cricut expressions and the cricut personal machine?  Which one is reccomended? Is it worth the price? Card making is a new hobby to me so im worried about spending the money. Just tell me whatever you think I should know about it, because im really interested in owning one!

I love my Cricut Expression!

There is a difference between the two.

The Expression can cut on a 12 x 12  and 12 x 24 mat.

The personal cutter is a 6 x 12 mat but is way more portable than the expression.

I have Sure Cuts A Lot software on my PC to hook up to my Expression and I think it is limitless with the images and fonts that are available and that you can create.  I have a couple of cartridges as well because I am a newbie and didn't know about SCAL before I invested in several carts.  The only complaints I have are:

The carts are so expensive.
The cutting mat looses stickiness too fast but there ARE ALTERNATIVE ways to re-stickying your mat.
It is addictive.
It is so addictive.
The little paper scraps on the floor are driving my husband crazy.
