It's about an inch in diameter as well  Smiley

i'm trying this recipie at the moment!  i don't have an electric mixer/beater though... so this is taking a little longer Tongue

This is a great recipe!  So easy!  The amount for each batch was just right to fully load one of my disposable icing bags so I didn't have to reload. 

I used my leftover egg yolks to make a scrumptious brioche! (Oh it's taunting me in the kitchen in it's perfect little poinsettia shape begging to be picked apart and eaten!)

I made peppermint ones with red stripes and a second batch of vanilla ones using a star shaped tip.

I have these baking in the oven right now. I do not have disposable piping bags and don't want to ruin my good ones... so I used a large ziptop freezer bag and cut off the corner and that worked just fine! Even though the liquid food colouring seemed to ball up when I painted the stripe it still worked just fine but I stuck to just one colour which still looks cute. I would opt for the gel food colouring next time though!
