So I am in Medical school, and have a physiology exam tomorrow. For the holidays, our class is doing a tacky x-mas sweater day. Since I am jewish, and there are few tacky hannakkah sweaters out there, I decided to make my own!

I finally got my action shot! NOTE: All lights work, they just blink!

Complete with light up menorah, plate of latkes, and a dreydle

Nes Gadol Haya Sham-represented by the letters nun, gimmel, hey, shin, "A great miracle happened there"

Fantastic! I mentioned in another topic how I had just been lamenting not having a tacky Christmas sweater and now I can lament not having a tacky Hanukkah sweater as well!  I may just need to may my own tacky winter sweater and have a tacky sweater party next year.

Thanks! I was a HUGE hit today at school, especially when I turned on the lights and they started to blink! I will post an "action" shot sometime tomorrow!

Shin was the easiest letter of the 4 to fit. If we were in Israel it would have been a Pey instead for Ness Gadole Hyah Poe "A great miracle happened here"

You all made my day!

Guardie for life.

I am really interested in doing a personal swap, especially for greener things like reusable lady items, wool dryer balls, or other such things.  I can knit, sew, draw, and put things together in pretty neat ways.  Please PM me if you're interested.

Lights are from a craft store. They come with a small battery pack they you just sew onto a piece of velcro. Really easy to use, but do not like to sit flat!

OMG, that's wonderful, I love clothes that light up!  I once made a jacket with light up fire-flies on the back for my aunt, wonder if she still has it.  Cute dog too.
