after working on the twilight hoodie for my daughter (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=283354.msg3210341#msg3210341) I got a little cocky and decided to work on the white elephant gift for the get together with all of our friends.  We have a few friends that are as obsessed with adult swim/metalocalypse as I am but there is one in particular that I made this in mind with.   I can't wait to see the fight that will break out (funny that I look forward to some fighting for the holidays lol)

These photos were taken right before I threw it in the washer (so there are still some stray fuzzies around) but I love the look and am so proud of it Opinions and such welcome Smiley

it's done with applique I sketched the image onto another piece of fabric, pinned it to the hoodie and sewed it to the hoodie.  If you're not familiar with free motion quilting I would suggest using a stabalizer under the image and precutting it then ironing it into place and then sewing it down to keep it from shifting.

If you've ever used a scroll saw the motion for cutting a design out on a saw is very similar to the motions needed to free motion quilt Smiley  Hope this helps some Smiley

That's so intricate, and you did such a tidy job!! Best handmade applique I've ever seen. Brutal! Cheesy
