On a scale of 1 to 10 how difficult was it to knit (just curious). Great job!

I'd say about a 7?

I love it! My mom tried to teach me to knit several years ago but I gave up... I was none too good at it. I want to try again though. I would love to one day be to the point where I could make something really nice like this.

PS Are you reading A Prayer For Owen Meany? I've been wanting to read that.

Love it! Horizontal cabled yokes are so cool. I have my eye on a pattern at the LYS, for when I finish The Boy's Giant (Boring) Sweater.

I like the button detail and that you used reverse stockinette for the body. So pretty and unusual!
