Not terribly exciting, but I was excited to figure out how to knit cables with purled spaces in them.  I knit the scarf using Vanna's Choice in Eggplant (it's a bit warmer purple than it looks in the picture) using 9's, and it came out to just about 2 skeins.  It's a Christmas gift for my cousin, who is a freshman in college in Minnesota - I figure an extra scarf won't hurt her Smiley

Beautiful scarf! I LOVE cables! I am a (very) novice knitter and recently taught myself cables. This would be a great practice scarf. Vanna's choice cracks me up. When I think of Vanna, yarn is definently not the first thing I think of!
