I made a scarf as a stocking stuffer for my mother in law (to go with a bowler hat also posted in the crochet section of this site).

The strip of brown in the middle was actually knitted but the rest is a combo of crochet stitches.
I actually started this more than a year ago and it sat in my ufo pile until I remembered last night. There wasn't a pattern because I just didn't use one.
Comments/criticism are welcome. thanks for looking.  Grin

nice scarf! It looks really cozy Smiley

I like your user name too lol. It's kind of funny because I was thinking of hippie punks just yesterday and how I'm kind of one of them myself. I thought "how would that blend? Hippunk...sure why not."

Cheers!

Hey thanks for the comments. It's pretty warm; it made my neck all toasty while I finished it.
Oh yeah, the hippiepunk thing. I used to get called that a lot in my late teens and only recently have I been seen as anything other than that by people I know. I guess I'm sort of a reformed hippiepunk now, although I'll never fully be a cog in the proverbial wheel.
