Okay, so I know more than a few of us have IKEA 'Malma' mirrors like this laying around:

http://marylandmosaics.com/catalog/images/MALMA%20MIRROR%20-%20WEB.jpg

They're great fun for crafting.  I've done several myself:

And there are even more ideas out there on the web, like these:

Google image search will find quite a lot more, as will ikeahacker.com

Get the idea?

The mirrors are cheap, usually about $3 US.  They're also pretty durable for shipping, I haven't had a problem with any breaks so far.

So who would be interested?  If I'm going to run it, it probably won't happen until late January.

ETA:

This swap will open up on Febuary 1st.  The only requirement for sending will be 1 IKEA mirror, though extras will be welcome provided you discuss them with your partner.

It will be open to 24 participants from any country, and signups will close on 2/14 at midnight CST.
You'll have a month to work on your mirror, and send outs will be 3/16.

This is my first time organizing, so I hope you guys can help me make this a good swap experience!

I'd like to take credit for that one, but that was one of the ones I found on the web.   Smiley

I'm glad there's so much initial interest!  I'm thinking the swap will involve one mirror and then 2-3 smalls.  Hope that works for everyone!

I think this sounds fun. If it ends up having 2-3 additional smalls, I am probably out. If it has only 1 other item attached to it, I would def. do it (e.g. it ends up being 2 mirrors, etc.)!

This would be a lot of fun. I have several of these I've spray painted black- now for embellishment!
