My DH found this recipe on the Runner's World beginners forum.  (why something this bad for you would be there, who knows!)  I made it and it is simply divine!  Although you can feel your cholesterol skyrocket.

Well, here goes... It was titled Bacon Roll or Bacon Cheese Roll or something like that, but I think that I am going to call it 'Quadruple Bypass'.

  Weave bacon strips together.

Bake at 4oo degree F until looks done.  I flipped and also drained off some of the grease.  Next time I will try cooking it on racks to help with drainage.  Pat grease off with paper towel.

When done, sprinkle with shredded cheese.  I used Sharp Cheddar.  Put back in oven just until cheese is melted.

Roll up.

Cut, eat, enjoy with caution!!

If you put it on a stick, it'd be like something they would serve at a state fair. MMMMM.....Heart Attack on a stick! Looks delish!  Grin

That is totally the most beautiful thing I have seen all day.  No one expects basketweave bacon.  Nom!

That's awesome! I'll have to show my husband. Him and my son really like bacon. In fact my son had his week at school where they put their favorites onto note cards and post them on a bulletin. For his favorite food he wrote bacon.

Oh good grief - my son sent this to me with the caption "YUM" - I told him I'll make it for him for his birthday - but really, I think it could kill ya! LOL
