Made this for my best friend's baby. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Machine pieced dresden plates, hand quilted everything else. Flannel binding. I spent about two weeks quilting this, long hours and sore fingers. Snuck my Halloween fabrics in, though the kid was born in January Smiley

Stretching the quilt on a handmade quilt frame.

Plate detail.

Quilt on her crib.

That's gorgeous and congrats on sneaking in unexpected favorites.  It looks beautiful and I'm sure the parents are very pleased. Smiley

Looking for postcards from anywhere to use for RSVP cards for my 8/2012 wedding.  Have 80/200.

Absolutely beautiful! My mom has been learning to quilt this year, and I'm considering picking it up.
