I made a couple of these and they always get (hopefully envious) looks in the donut shop.

I sewed a load of strips of fabric together, then quilted it. I was pretty pleased with how it turned out. Hopefully it won't go the way of my last cup cozy which I unthinkingly threw out once when I was finished my tea.

The quilting looks great! Do you use cotton batting or insul-brite?

Thanks for the inspiration, I was just thinking my scrap bin overfloweth....

No, cotton, just plain old polyester batting. I'm not a great sewer, so I like little projects like these do practice my skills.
