I am pleased to announce the birth of my 3rd daughter, Everleigh Sailor! I totally got down with some crafts and was very frugal with my spending. I bought a used bassinette that I found for $10 on KSL.com (It's a Utah thing). I am not completely finished with it, although I still posted because all that I have left is to applique felt cherrys on the side of the skirt and I won't get to it until after christmas. So here it be!

Before with a Martha Stewart cover:

From sweet baby bassinet to rockin' baby bassinet. Really cute idea, and I love that you'll be putting cherries on it. I LOVE cherries. Nice peek at the baby too. She's so tiny!

Very cool conversion!!!

I love your daughter's name.  What are your other kids' names?  Are they as unique?

Yes, so true!! When you do come back, we should do Frankenmuth! In just a few hours we could get to all stores we would really want to get to.

I'm sure the kids Grammy would love a bit of babysitting time.  Grin

this is awesome! I'm getting a similar Bassinette from my mom (which won't be used for a while but I am told I have to take it soon if I want it). did you use the old cover to make a pattern for the new one?

I love seeing baby items look no so baby-ish.

PS. My husband and I picked Everlee for our little girls name. I thought we were so original. Ha. Great minds think alike.
