I really enjoying sharing my completed work on this forum; your comments are always so encouraging. You are looking at a couple's wedding picture. The father is deceased so their daughter hired me to have this picture made for the mom as a gift. The effect of the vail covering her hair and dress was challenging but I think the colors I used makes it look like it is really covering a portion of her hair and dress , it also looks as if his coat is transparent under the lace of her bouquet.
In case this it the first time you have seen my work; You are looking at hundreds of pieces of different color card stock paper that I cut to pin sized pieces and replicate a photo provided to me from the client. Once I have duplicated the photo in mosaic form I place it and seal it on a ceramic vase that, yes; I make and paint as well. I hope you like. (the picture is about 4x6 and the vase is about 10x9.

Thank you; it took about 24 total hours to complete. I still have a full time job so I work on my art in the eveing and on the weekends. It can take me more time depending on the details in the picture. I also do full color pics so those take a bit more time..cutting all the different colors.
