I wanted to make that adorable cupcake scarf for my niece, but just plain ran out of time.  I was already making scarf holders and fleece scarves for my Girl Scout troop, so I cut one more scarf, made just one cupcake motif, added a strap by chaining over and single crocheting back and voila - just run the ends of the scarf through the strap in opposite directions and you're good to go - with a little pal on your shoulder.

I used this pattern for my cupcake motif - http://www.craftbits.com/viewProject.do?projectID=2252

that is too cute!  It looks like it would also work as a tawashi too.  Maybe get a little bottle of travel size body wash and make 2 or 3 of those and ta-da!  Christmas gift! Grin

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.
