On December 19, 2002, my cat died in a house fire in the very house I'm sitting in right now (he wasn't burned; he died of smoke inhalation).  Even though it's been almost 6 years, I still miss him like crazy and have photos of him up in frames around the living room.  I'm sorry about your kitty.

On a happier note, your mice are adorable!  I would love to have a pattern for my new kitties.  Smiley  Thank you for sharing!

Although i'm a dog person (and actually allergic to cats), i appreciate the kitties very much and would LOVE to use your pattern to make cute little "meeces" for my neighbors and their 6 (yes, six) cats.  i can't wait for it!!

Great work!!

Barbolot - these are adorable.  I love that you reclaimed fabric from other items.

And I am sorry to hear about the loss of your feline companion.  (((hug)))

These are so cute!  And they remind me of my kitty that is no longer... Sad  He used to raid my bathroom cabinet under the sink, take a wrapped tampon out of its wrapper, and play with that as if it was a mouse.  Smiley  That's why I don't spend a lot of $ on kitty toys - they always find their own way of entertaining themselves.   Cheesy

I am so sad that I found this post today-- too late to get them here before Christmas!

I still love them, maybe I will be better prepared next year.

I wish my cat would play with stuff like this... they look so fun to make  Smiley  She can't be bothered putting effort into chasing something unless it runs and is made of meat.  And she's one of those cats who has no reaction to catnip.

Aww, thank you in advance for the future tute.  I will make some in memory of your Sally for my Birdy, Jimmy, and Cali to play with.  I think I might add a jingle bell to the nose because Birdy loves anything with one on it.  These are extremely cute.  Smiley
