I don't profess to be a quilter, but I figured this is the thread where this belongs!

I made each of my Hubby's grandparent's a family tree quilt this year for the holidays. 2 total, but in my zeal I wrapped the 1st one without taking pics! I'll get some pics when it is opened! The pics for this one aren't great as it is bitter cold out and my lighting in my house sucks!

The quilt is lap quilt sized. About 40in.x60in.

A closer view of the leafy part of the tree. Each leaf has a name and the birds at the top are the Grandparent's.

I quilted the leaves, birds, and tree trunk all the way through. I'm pretty proud of how this came out for being a first attempt.
