I had a long crappy day at work that was made a million times better by the amazing Skull swap package I got from Kuruku! This is my first swap so I was pretty excited to begin with  Roll Eyes

These are really cool jewelry hangers, they're cut from wood and have a little 'C' hook on the front for hanging your pretty baubles and a little hook on the back for attatching them to the wall. I don't know if you used a jig saw or what Kuruku but I totally love the shape Smiley

..and then I opened a little box to find carefully wrapped a set of super cute skully earrings, a gold and bronze colored skully pendant and 2 amazing snap barettes that look exactly like little Day of the Dead sugar skulls. The little beading detail on these are awesome.  Shocked

..Next.. (I was spoiled) I got a super soft and really pretty 'knitted Skull cap' toque (I'm Canadian we say toque). I love it, it hasn't left my head since I got home, although my just-got-off-work look doesn't honor it much.

..and last but deffinatly not least.. I got a felt softie skeleton. He's so cool it hurts. I gave him a hug and decided after almost naming him Leroy that he's much more a 'Rasputin'.. he's currently trying to put the moves on my Doom stuffie kitty on the couch.

Thanks again Jess, I love the stuff you sent, it was a great first swap  Smiley

I got a brilliant package loaded with skullish items from Shotgun_Bettie today.

A mask for my (much needed) beauty sleep:

An unbelievably cool silkscreened shirt, w/silver ink!

A zippered pouch filled with glass bubble magnets:

And two delicious-smelling Death by Chocolate soaps:

Thanks for the label indicating that they were soap. I thought that they were chocolate. You can very well guess what may have happened.

I love everything so very very much. You made my day!! Hooray!!

Awww.. I'm glad you like your stuff Smiley yeah the Chocolate Cake soap scent is one of my favorites, it smells so delicious. Tongue. The sleep mask isn't Skully but you said you liked anything goth so I thought while I was learning how to make them I'd throw one in.  I'm also glad the shirt fit, I was a little worried it wouldn't, if not it'd make a killer jammie shirt. The tiny little spot by the collar is just a little freezer paper smudge, I couldn't get it out but it'll come out in the wash Smiley

Great swap, I'm glad I was in it Smiley

*bluUUush* Thanks Smiley The shirt is plain old stencilled with freezer paper and my nifty exacto knife. I found the pic of the skull kitty online and modified it to what I needed (made it a 100 times bigger and took out it's nostrils) Other then that I just used silver acrylic paint with textile medium and my spongy roller.
I find the silver stenciled shirts look alot more professional for some reason. .
