Every year for my daughter we're making sure she has an ornament to remember something about her from the year - something she was interested in or did.  This year she loves gorillas, and all the gorilla ornaments we could find were either breakable or scary looking.  This is what I made - it is felt, and hand stitched.  The face and hands are grey - I couldn't quite get the color right in the photo.  The eyes are white and black.

This is adorable and since it's not breakable it'll be around for you to tell her babies about! The best ornament are the ones with stories behind them.
