here is a coat i made for one of the girls in daycare with little man.  she turned three 3 days before him (and her brother turned 1 a week later...which was a week before my baby)  that makes 4 birthdays in 2 weeks (out of the 5 kids she watches!)
anyway, wanted to make something cute for her because she is such a little peanut and so adorable!
i really liked how it turned out, so i thought i'd share...

Oh my goodness, that is the cutest thing!!  I'm sure she'll be stopped everywhere by people telling her how adorable she is in her new coat!

This is very cute!  I love this fabric!  I oogle over it every time I'm in Jo-Anns' but I can never think of anything to do with flannel besides make pjs or blankets/pillowcases so I never bought it!  I really like what you did with it!

I love it. I really like how the arms flare. What pattern did you use?

It's not what you know, but what you do with what you know that is important.
