I have that same fear with cutting fabric...it is SO permanent!!!  If I mess up knitting, I can just rip it back and start over, but with sewing, you can't just start over with your nice big piece of fabric!!

(and yes, I am neurotic...)

No you're not!  I was in the fall Lap Quilt Swap this past year and getting everyone else's fabric to cut was nerve-wracking.  It took me about a month to even think about starting a block.  Haha.  Luckily there's a lot of time for that swap, but I didn't want to fudge anything.

Ho - ly crackers. I'm sooooo behind! I've missed like 20 pages of this thread and, despite many many hours of daydreaming and thinking, my actual crafting for this swap is basically, sadly, at nil. I did manage to pick up some stuff and will craft like a manic over the next couple of weeks to make something terribly (hopefully) magnificent. Once the crafting begins in earnest there will be a whirlwind of activity the likes of which my craft room has never seen!

Don't worry, knickers. I have only done the tip of the iceberg work on your big item at this point. I'm a bit afraid to really get started on it, I think. I don't want to mess it up! Oh, the pressure!

I just finished ckchan's item that she requested and have changed my mind 2 times on her small item. I found out how much I hate handsewing so one small has been banished, but I have a great idea for another.

Javede's package is almost done! I think I'll go finish it now!

I, um... haven't started yet either. In my defense, I need supplies and haven't been able to run to the bead store yet. But I know what the main item is going to be so that counts for something, yes? Grin
