This is lovely! We should all still be wearing clothes from this period; they're so much nicer than today's jean-shorts-and-tank-top styles.

I'm looking for Simplicity 6340 (the 1970's sailor dress). PM me if you've got a copy to swop or sell! Cheesy

The precision and amount of detail in this is amazing. Where's a drooling smiley when you need one. I second the question, did you have a pattern or just made it up yourself?

Don't be fooled! I didn't do those pleats myself! I sent them to a pleater, with over 20m of pleating to be done, they only charge $4/m. I thought it was well worth it, for the sake of my sanity.

CHEATER!!!  ...wait... they have pleaters!?

This is amazing! I am just getting into historical costuming and I've done regency, 1850s/60s and I am dying to go 1880s full bustle era! This is just gorgeous. Well done! Smiley

Ah! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!

I will alter puzzle pieces for you if you alter some for me! Smiley

I have to make a lot of victorian costume pieces and nothing I make can even touch your stuff! Just exquisite! Beautiful work!
