Hey guys,
Yet another of my costume posts, sorry if period dress is starting to irritate!!
I finished this one... 2 weeks ago?
Well, not completely finished, I want to add some lace to the inside of the cuff, and I need to fix that unsightly, horrible gaping at CF. Apparently it's not that easy to fix (according to teacher), but I think I have an idea how.

Without much further ado...

The bustling bustler!

Thanks for looking!

Edit 05/04/09:  I've just finished the hat, you can see it here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=299729.0

As always, I am very impressed. I totally need to go to this school of yours. Do they take international post grads?

Wow, very nice pleats!  The front does look very difficult to get perfect.

Great work!

Grin I'm sure they would! Sydney is very nice this time of year! Actually, any time of the year!

Don't be fooled! I didn't do those pleats myself! I sent them to a pleater, with over 20m of pleating to be done, they only charge $4/m. I thought it was well worth it, for the sake of my sanity.

it is beautiful garmets like this that make me wish these outfits were still in fashion. I would love to go out wearing something like this without the funny looks
