This was an evening project when I realised I do not have a purse to match an outfit for a wedding. It is made from scratch of the skirt I sewed, the handles are from satin bias tape left overs and the applique from felt scratch from a swap. The whole purse is lined with padding. The crab image is "lent" from ikea children bedclothes. The eyes are made with tiny, white plastic circles (made with a hole-punch) and a bead.


I am collecting any kind of skull shaped beads and patches-feel free to send me spare ones  ;-)

I  love the crabs on the bag too - the crabs on a more traditional type plaid fabric really give the bag a spicy kick.
