Progress is being made - only three more bags and two Mei Tais to go.

So Thursday night I had the bright idea to make a clutch to carry to the company Christmas party. It took a bit longer than it should have:

And after I finished that one, I moved on to a beach tote:
The bands around the outside of the bag are pockets.

I had Friday off from work because of family obligations in the morning, so after breakfast, but before a late lunch, I whipped up the "white elephant" gift for our Christmas party - I made a matching set of a pair of glittens, hat and neckwarmer. I didn't take pictures, unfortunately, but they were pretty cute - purple tie-dye fleece.

So today I prepped more fabric for the last couple bags. I didn't want to make the same tote for all the aunts, so I thought I'd change it up a bit and improvised. Here's the result:
(yes, that is a zippered pocket inside. I was experimenting)

These are great.  I like the way you put your zippered pocket on.  Sometimes I get those...doh..."why did I not think of that?" moments when I am on here.  This is one of those times.

First of all, I think the clutch is great and that the other two bags are fantastic (good work with the zipper)
Second of all, I'm soooo glad that you used the word glittens! I say that to friends and they are like "glittens?  What the heck are glittens?" and I always have to say "glove/mittens of course!" thanks for that...it makes me feel a little less crazy!
