Details of swap:
Take 36 pictures, average 5 a day, over the period of a week. Whether you use film or digital doesn't matter, as long as you can put your pictures into an album. Meaning, you'll need to have prints if you do digital. Show your life at its finest (at its dullest is fine too... we're not all fascinating people). Make doubles of your pictures (triples if you want to keep a copy, or if you would want to be prepared to compensate for flakers, you kind-hearted generous person you). If you like, you can write some descriptions on the back of the pictures, to explain your reason for taking exactly that picture, or to explain your feelings about the picture. Put the pictures into some cheap 36-page photo albums*, and swap! You'll send the albums out to two different people, and in return you'll get albums from two different people. In this swap, I think it would be amazing if everyone would be willing to send to people from different countries (though if you can't or won't I understand), because it would just be awesome to see different cultures living out their week!

If I'm missing anything, let me know! This is my first organized Craftster swap, and I'm a little nervous, though I've done some postcard swaps in the past (not on this site). Anyways, have fun!

*A note... I personally love pulling apart cheap albums and putting my own covers on. Nobody has to do this, but if you want to, feel encouraged. Feel very, very encouraged!

Well, since you can fit the average photo album into an envelope, the shipping really shouldn't be too bad. I wouldn't know, though. You can inquire at your local post office, if you're really concerned. (Though, one of the rules for letting people join a swap is that they need a minimum of 5 posts. I'm sure you can manage that if you want to join  And, so far we have nobody outside of the US and Canada, so you would be very, very welcome!)

I don't see a problem with putting them into a notebook, as long as they'll survive being handled without falling out. *shrugs* I dunno, maybe some other people who've joined can share their opinions?
