Willing to personal swap for art of my doggies!

I made a couple of these a few years ago for DH and myself, and had been meaning to make more for gifts since.  They are so easy to work up with super bulky yarn.  For the colours I wanted that did not have the super bulky, I just used two strands of worsted together.  So I made a half dozen, for a few of the ILs and a couple of friends.  I would like to have some more done for some more friends for next year.  These are actually nicer than ours, because I added some holly leaves and then I added their names in metal tile brads.  We could use them as traditional stockings, or as a reusable gift bag too.

These are so darling.  What pattern did you use, because I would love to make them. Adding the holly leaves and berries really adds to "cuteness."

Any chance of getting the pattern you used for the holly leaves?

Please and thank you,

I got it years ago from Mary Maxim.  They no longer have it, but they have something similar but with an intarsia snowflake pattern which is even prettier!

If you like the striping, it is easy enough to replace the snowflake with the striping instead.

I am so sorry I did not see the question about the holly leaves - I don't remember, I think I just winged it with a crocheted chain and working different lengths of stitches up and down either side of the chain.

These are really great! They are more cuter than regular stockings. Good Job! I wished I could crochet now.

A lovely idea and I can see why you would want to use them as gifts! These are so sweet. Plus I love the term 'Mockings'  Cheesy

They would be so simple to make out of old felted sweaters or blankets.  I just like to knit more than sew - but I can completely see making them out of recycled fabrics.
