Hello!
I want to make my best friend a pair of sneakers for Christmas, but I don't have much time, so I need some help.
I got a pair of white knock off Vans from Walmart.  Step one complete.
Now, when I want to decorate them, can I just Sharpie them?  Will it run?  Or should I use paint?  Like, the 75 cent paint, or the really expensive kind?  Can I use Mod Podge to finish, or will that warp them?  Do I have to buy the spray stuff to finish them?

I have no idea what to do.  Even the littlest bit of help is appreciated!
