I knitted these socks with 7mm needles and from 8 pieces of 6cm-squares. I liked them a lot, hope you like them, too! Here is the link to the pattern:

Quinkes, Misty 66, inle_rah, thank you very much =)
Patsee, you can do it in a night, so you should move it up in the list!

Hi!  Love the 8-sq socks and printed out pattern but can't read Turkish ... need to know size yarn, needles, please, I think I can take it from there!  Really great for gifts!

I have just sent an e-mail to your blog asking for an English translation of the 8-square slipper pattern.
For some reason I thought that you had posted this thread on craftster three years ago. I apologize.

Please can you supply an English translation of the pattern?

Thank you,
Janey

Janey and yogaknitty, I'm sorry but the pattern is not Turkish, but Finnish and I don't know Finnish.. Sad But I figured it out without knowing the language. For an adult woman, you can have (6 x 6) cm squares. And here is how they are attached:

Attach the sides with the same shape and color. I cannot help you with the needles, but I made it with 0.7 mm needles. Hope you understand =)

It's not great, but try the google translation:

I may try making a pair for my mother for Christmas (she always has cold feet lately). Thanks for posting the pattern!
