"I hope this works"

So, my 12 year old niece has been obsessed with squirrels forever.  Squirrel trinkets are not the easiest to come by, so I usually end up making her stuff.
This year I made sheets.  Well, I bought the sheets, they are flannel, then I used freezer paper stencils and fabric paint.  I've never done this before, I although I had a lot to cut out, it was pretty easy.  I also carved a stamp for the track prints, but it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, so I didn't put any on the sheets.

What do you think?

A little better picture of the lettering.

If anyone has any ideas to make it better, let me know I still have time to work on it.  Also, I couldn't decide to add eyes or not.  Everytime I did on paper, they just looked creepy to me.  Do they look funny without?

i think it looks just fine without eyes. i can see why it would be creepy - with a big dark eye staring out.
if you really wanted to add eyes, it would have to be super big and cutesy.

i'm sure she'll love them and loves that she has such a crafty aunt.

I'm not sure what you think is wrong with the prints, from what I can see they look so cute and would add an extra **something** to the sheets  Cheesy Imagine a little squirrel tracking all over the sheets. So cute!
