thanks  Smiley i have loads of felt i could use.(i had wondered which would work best)
I may make some of these and embroider them and give them as stocking stuffers for Christmas....

do you mind if i ask how you did the dolls limbs? i mean, their legs and stuff are so perfect shape wise! hehe i think i need one for at my sewing machine...a little inspirational sprite  Grin

The sprite dolls are from my own doll pattern.  There is a variety of patterns for the legs and arms in different so that I can sew them together and create almost any position I like.   All my pattern pieces are template meaning no seam allowance.  I draw around the template and then sew on the lines.  That way I get the shapes I want.
