Oh man, I had that song stuck in my head for days when I was sewing them last week. Now its back   Cry LOL

I still have 11 of the suckers left over and no clue what to do with them now. I think my daughters stuffed animals and dolls are all going to be wearing berets for a long time lol

And I made some knitting needle crochet hook rolls and some circular needle holder too.  This was for a swap but I liked them so much I made myself some too.  My partner recieved today.

i am making a bunch of aprons for a craft show right now......and it didnt even cut a niche in the humongous fabric stash I have....is that bad?

Your heading in the right direction.  I have the same problem.  I did a heap of destashing last year. And it doesn't even look like I put a dent in it.   That's the problem when your stash is large.

Of course I have a fabric stash, a bead stash, a paper stash, a yarn stash, ...   I could go on.  Lets just say that I have a lot of stuff for a lot of different crafts.

same here! I have a huge fabric/yarn/notions/embroidery/jewelrymaking/scrapbooking stash.

and today I bought a beadazzler-type thing and a bunch of rhinestones to use with it so now everything must have bling.

Oh, Bedazzler's are so useful! I have the original from when I was a kid, and use it to put everything from jewels on the backs of my Mom's jeans to hardcore studs on the pleather stocking I made last Christmas.

And I am organizing a swap that may be interesting to destash types - the Buy Nothing /Green Swap! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=290107.0

Now that I have my January swaps done, I can do some craftalonging. Although technically one of the swaps I did was destash, so I did indeed destash some things!

Anyhow, I had this weird bulky item stashed away that I decided I needed to use. It's a plastic ring/holder that held 3 jars of spaghetti sauce at Sam's Club (bulk food warehouse). I stashed it there months ago because I thought it was cool, don't ask me why!

I just started teaching myself crochet this last month and decided I should practice crocheting onto something, so when I saw the rings in the stash, bingo, I will make some bracelets!  I just used a big wire cutting thing to cut off the tabs on the inside and outside of the ring. They are all made of bits of bulky/super bulky yarn in bright colors:

The pink one got a bit twisty, so I need to untwist the ring a bit, I think!
